Our operating hours are scheduled based on need locally, and it is standard practice for us to be closed on a bank holiday when most referral organisations are also closed.
Please note that the foodbank will be closed on the following bank holidays:
MONDAY 10TH APRIL
MONDAY 1ST MAY (EARLY MAY HOLIDAY)
MONDAY 22ND MAY (VICTORIA DAY)
We work especially hard around bank holidays to fulfil any outstanding vouchers before the holiday, and catch up with deliveries on the first working day after the holiday. We will be open as usual the days before and after the holidays, but please ensure that referrals are made in good time to be fulfilled before those dates.
If you urgently need help on these Mondays, the Edinburgh Food Project centres will be open in Broughton, Clermiston and Pilton. Any Trussell Trust referral is valid with them too, and you can contact them on 0131 444 0030 to make arrangements for collection. They do not offer deliveries.
